    3. Nutzt für die ersten Schritte bitte unbedingt unsere ausführliche Anleitung.

    LIABILITY INSURANCE AND ORGANIZATION/NGO/NON-PROFIT CONTACT DETAILS
    • The NGO should have relevant public liability / third-party liability insurance in place, which would provide cover for volunteers.  Please check with your NGO.
    • In the UK, the NGO should sign a VOLUNTEER DISCLAIMER form. Please download and ask your NGO to complete and keep this for your records. This document may also be advisable in markets outside UK. Please check with your local HR team.
    • In Germany NGOs need to complete the PROJEKT BEWERBUNG form outlining their details including their third-party and accident insurance . Please download the form and ask your NGO  to complete and keep this for your records.
    • In Germany, manual/craftmanship projects need extra liability cover. Please download the HAFTUNGSAUSSCHLUSS HANDWERKLICHE PROJEKTE form below and ask your partner organization’s signature and keep it for your records.

    PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Ford / Ford Fund would like to communicate our engagement in the community. Any photos taken during the volunteer activities may be used in internal Ford publications or in external communications.  Any other persons captured in the photos (e.g. from the beneficiary) as part of the event need to be made aware that their photo may be used for these purposes unless they notify you of their objection. Ford volunteers who don’t wish to be photographed should make this known.

    • Please ask everyone who is photographed to fill out and sign a GENERAL PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE form or FORMULAR ZUR ABTRETUNG VON BILDRECHTEN (for German employees and NGOs). Please keep the documents for security. When you send your photos to the communications team in your market, please attach the relevant signed consent documents and make it clear which individuals are present in the photo.

    SAFETY PROTOCOLS

  • Ford Volunteer Corps has strict safety protocols in place to ensure its volunteers are kept safe. Please review your local safety protocols and Ford’s COVID19 rules and complete a health and safety site assessment (where relevant)

    CODING FOR THE GERMAN TIME-KEEPING SYSTEM

  • Please enter code 1048 in the German time-keeping system so that the time is recognized as a CI day.
